About Us
So, what’s your signature art style?
Since our start in 2016, that’s been the most common question we’ve heard at Za Works.
And our answer? We don’t have one, every style, every art form, we can do it!
Because we didn’t want to fit into a box from the beginning. Our goal was to create something that had not yet been created; a studio where artwork could be loud or silent, crazy or quiet, modern or vintage, as long as it clicked with the viewers. We do murals, wallpaper, canvases, installations, and anything else the space or concept demands. While some of it will blend in and slowly occur to you, others will cause you to pause and gaze.
With just the correct amount of structure, we are a group of designers, artists, and more. We operate in a way that continuously explores, changes, and challenges what art should look like because our founder never believed in limitations.
We’ve had the chance to design everything from cafes and restaurants to residences, workplaces, and all points in between over the years and work with some amazing interior design and architecture studios, including reD Architects, Essajees Atelier, MuseLAB, Sumessh Menon Associates, Rohit Bhoite House of Design, SKD Studio, Nishita Kamdar, Design Hex, and others. Our artwork has also been incorporated into spaces built for Reliance, Dave and Busters, Fountain Sizzlers, Lodha, Aditya Birla, and so many more!
Our primary goal is to understand your vision, regardless of the surface to which it belongs….With a lot of paint, honesty, and curiosity.
Our Team
Fatema Shakir
Fatema is our chief operations everything officer, our very own superwoman. She juggles everything from management to finance, marketing, client servicing, and more, and somehow does it all with grace. A true problem solver with a never-give-up attitude, her energy keeps Za Works running. We honestly don’t know what we’d do without her!
Mashal
Mashal, our Project Manager, is the team’s go-to for everything- from technical questions to project timelines, coordination and so much more. Our in-house problem solver is the one who makes sure things function smoothly not only on sites but also in the office. Be it a spreadsheet or a wallpaper trouble, he’d probably have a solution for it!
Shubham
Our very first team member and now the Artist Head- Shubham has had quite the journey with Za Works. He’s the one we count on, whether it’s a complex artwork or a last-minute fix. With a deep passion for art and a loyalty that never wavers, he’s truly become a core part of Za Works.
Henisha
Henisha has been with us since the very beginning, and her journey from junior to senior designer is something we’re constantly in awe of. Today, she not only leads design but also mentors our newcomers and there’s truly no one better for it. With a sharp eye for detail and a natural knack for management, she brings both creativity and structure to Za Works.
Sakina
Our marketing maven, Sakina turned long-time marketing plans into action when she joined the team. Inquisitive, hardworking, and always eager to learn, she dives into the details and is constantly exploring new ways to share the Za Works story.
Kamal
One of the most enthusiastic people on the team, Kamal is curious, hardworking, and always up for a challenge. What we love most? She asks all the right questions and keeps growing every day; her talent and ambition are already making their mark.
Bhavesh
The newest member of our art team, Bhavesh brings a lot of dedication and heart to everything he does. He’s talented, kind, and truly passionate about his work. The long journey he makes every day says it all- and we’re excited to see how he grows with us.
Nihal
Nihal went from freelancing with us to becoming a full-time part of the team. He’s full of energy, super creative, and always ready to get things done. A real go-getter we’re glad to have around.
